What a year this week has been.

Before everything got weird, this was the time of the year that we readied for HPE Discover. Naturally, some complained behind the scenes. Could Las Vegas in June be any hotter, and my feet are killing me in these shoes! And then someone asked me if I enjoyed the Chainsmokers. But the good news is we all have a little more time to brush up on our in-person social skills. Right? And let’s not forget our new skill set of making a virtual event come alive with customer and partner engagement. That’s a good thing.

Read Calvin Zito’s Q&A with Tom Black. “Why should you care about Unified DataOps – the new data vision.” It’s a don’t miss for what Calvin deems “being the biggest thing I’ve worked on in my 30+ years in HPE Storage.” Tom tells us why this is exciting innovation and what it means from the customer perspective. The article is chalked full- a little tongue in cheek with a lot of excitement from the customer’s perspective. This new vision is a new experience for data- HPE Discover will be the perfect place to explore the new vision.
