Editor’s Letter – Spring 2020

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Welcome to the Spring edition of Connect Converge

Fun Fact: Back in 1963, an insurance company attempts to boost employee morale commissioning Harvey Ball to design a smiley face on a yellow background. The smiley face went viral, and 50 million buttons were sold. Harvey’s take was $45.00.

As I am writing this, we are all in the throes of our new normal. I am practicing social distancing, and it is not something I ever want to do again! But as luck has it, we are a global community that can still remotely engage, and we are just doing it a bit more creatively.

One engaged member sums it up in a nutshell, “As a Connect member, I am able to interact with peers regarding their unvarnished assessments of HPE solutions.  HPE’s sales and support teams are superb, but learning firsthand about actual customer experiences with products is what can make the difference for me between a purchase and a look-elsewhere decision.  Candid commentary is the benefit I receive from an independent user group.”

Our HPE community still stands strong, so go check the Connect website for event updates, webinars, podcasts, and announcements. As always, send your updates and news our way.

At this time, HPE Discover 2020 is taking place as planned in Las Vegas, June 23 – 25, 2020.

Read the entire HPE COVID-19 response.

In this unprecedented time, user groups are a definitive source of opportunity and networking.

Right now, this world needs more Harvey’s. Make someone smile today.

Stay well. Stay Connected.
See you in Las Vegas.

Stacie
