Closing the gap between HPC and AI

Scientists and engineers face a number of technical hurdles to utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) techniques alongside high-performance scientific computing applications. Recently, a multidisciplinary team of researchers at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), the Institute of Aerodynamics and Gas Dynamics of the University of Stuttgart, and the High-Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS), created Relexi to overcome these technical challenges and provide the community with a large-scale simulation framework that can be tailored to their use cases.

Infrastructure-as-code on HPE GreenLake using Terraform

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

The process of managing and provisioning computer data centers through machine-readable definition files, otherwise known as Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), offers many significant benefits. It helps to increase operational agility, simplify management, reduce errors, and save cost. In this post, I’ll explore some of the benefits of using IaC on HPE GreenLake through the use of Terraform.

Let’s harness some of the benefits of Infrastructure as Code

One of the superpowers of IaC is its repeatability, the fact that you can set something up once and then use the same information in multiple ways.…

Discover HPE’s new building block for digital transformation

If there is one realization enterprises around the world reached last year, it is the fact that digital transformation can’t wait. In responding to the COVID-19 crisis, companies faced starkly different realities based on how much—or how little—they had advanced their digital transformation journeys. Some were caught without any scalable remote working technologies, while for others, even if disruptive, the move to a working-from-home model was relatively straightforward.…
