Omer Asad

Omer Asad is the SVP & GM of Cloud Data Services within HPE Storage. In this role, he works to expand HPE’s cloud services offerings, leading development and delivery of innovative storage solutions that help customers along their digital transformation journey. Previously, Omer was at Pure Storage, where he led software and multi-cloud product management, roadmap building/execution, technical marketing and solutions architecture functions. Omer has also held leadership roles in Riverbed Technology, NetApp and Sun Microsystems. Omer holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Duke University and he holds several patents and publications on storage technologies.
