Let’s clear the 2020 cache. We don’t want to forget everything we learned this year, but we can sure use the opportunity to refresh for 2021. Like every other company, we started the year with some clear ideas of what we wanted to accomplish in 2020.
Perspective is a funny thing these days. In the long run, no matter how much life has changed, I hope we all have the opportunity to learn something new, brush up on a skill set and throw in a few random acts of kindness. I love the quote by Emerson because it says that difficult times are small compared to the determination within us.
Most of you are used to seeing this column penned by Navid Khodayari, who has done an amazing job for the last two years. With the new year Navid has been promoted to past-president, and I have been given the honor to be your president. I hope I will be able to continue the legacy that Navid has left me, I am sure with your help, along with our newest members of the board we will continue to build upon his work.

This is usually the C2 issue where I get to write about the recent HPE Discover European event but, as we all know, that didn’t take place this year and has been replaced with the ongoing Discover More events around the globe. We at Connect have received great feedback about these shows and encourage you all to attend when it comes to a city near you. Of course, the venerable HPE Discover show in Las Vegas is still going strong with another event planned for this coming June!
